Shahjahanpur (UP), Mar 10 (ANI): Nation is celebrating Holi with gusto and religious zest, but the festival of colors has many shades of colors and people in different places celebrate it differently. To remember the cruelty of the Britishers on Indians, a unique procession was taken out in Shahjahanpur where its residents showed their aggression and anguish against the Britishers by throwing shoes and colors at ‘Lord saheb’ who is the centerpiece of the procession. For the safety of the person who is playing the role of ‘Lord Saheb’, heavy police presence surrounds him. The procession is taken out on a special bullock cart in between heavy security to stop any untoward activity. Interestingly, the person who is playing role of ‘Lord Saheb’ doesn’t wear any dress just a plastic sheet and helmet to cover him. Rapid action force and CRPF have also been deployed to maintain law and order in the city during the festival.
