New Delhi, Mar 07 (ANI): In a unique taxi service, ‘Women with wheels’ are operated by the women drivers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The service, an initiative by 'Sakha cabs ' was launched from the international airport from January 10 in a bid to make women feel safer. The cabs are driven by women drivers and the services are only provided to female commuters. On this International Women’s Day, women cab drivers spoke to ANI and shared their experiences. While speaking to ANI, a cab driver Aarti said, “My family supported me for this job. I am feeling proud of it.” “I thanked to the government for giving me this job. I am feeling proud to have this job. I will continue it till the end,” said Lata another cab driver. “I never thought that I will drive the car but I learned it. I am very happy,” Pinky cab driver told ANI.
