Sikkim to reopen educational institutions from June 15

Gangtok (Sikkim), May 23 (ANI): Sikkim has decided to reopen the schools and colleges amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Education Minister, Kunga Nima Lepcha said, “We are going to reopen all the schools and colleges from June 15.” However, in schools only seniors’ classes (9 to 12) will be allowed to attend the schools, while online classes would continue for the primary and elementary levels. Sikkim, is the only coronavirus-free state in the country, and also has become the first state to reopen schools and colleges.
