Srinagar holds marathon to boost women empowerment, condemn usage of drugs

Srinagar (J&K), Mar 28 (ANI): In a bid to promote women empowerment and stand against the consumption of drugs in the valley, a non-government organization, White Globe collaborated with Jammu and Kashmir police and Nizamia Education Group Delhi to organize women marathon in Srinagar. More than 600 girls participated in the marathon. Participants were enthusiastic and appreciated authorities for organizing it. Objective was to promote women empowerment and stand against consumption of drugs in Valley. The marathon was started from Dug Park Foreshore road and concluded at Mughal Garden Nishat Bagh on the banks of world famous Dal Lake.
