Stay at home to defeat coronavirus: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mar 20 (ANI): To protect people of Rajasthan from coronavirus, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given directions to shut down all government and semi-government departments, local self-governance institutions, government corporations and boards barring few departments concerned with essential services. CM Gehlot was reviewing the situation of coronavirus infection in the state during a meeting held in Jaipur. The CM said the next two weeks are especially important in regard to spreading of this virus and every person has to play the role of responsible citizen to win over this disease. In the meeting, CM directed to postpone all examinations of students of all schools and colleges in the state till further orders.Spas, clubs, bars etc. in the state should be closed till further orders. He also instructed officers of the Labour Department to ask all private factories to ensure cleanliness at the work place besides taking necessary prevention against the coronavirus.During the meeting, Chief Minister said that the government has imposed Section 144 to stop gathering of crowd and it is a duty of officials to ensure that it is being abided effectively in the interest of public. He also appealed to the general public to completely abide by the directions issued by the government so that their life remains safe.
