Sushmita Dev joins TMC, says ‘hope to be helpful to party’

Kolkata, Aug 16 (ANI): Sushmita Dev joined on August 16 joined All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) in the presence of party leaders Abhishek Banerjee and Derek O'Brien after resigning from the Congress today. “I met Abhishek Banerjee. It was a very good discussion, he has excellent vision and clarity for the party. We went to meet CM Banerjee. It was an excellent discussion. She clearly has an excellent future vision for the party. I hope to be helpful in that regard,” said TMC’s Sushmita Dev.
