Suvidha centre washing clothes for slum dwellers facing water crisis

Mumbai, Aug 13 (ANI): Community washing facility introduced at Suvidha Center for slum-dwellers in Mumbai’s Qureshi Nagar. They are charging them Rs 55 for 5 pairs of clothes. Manager Abdullah Ansari said, “NGO Pratha Samajik Sanstha started it this year for people facing water crisis and can't afford to buy water.” A local, Vishal Patil said, "They wash the clothes nicely and charge a reasonable amount. I come here every two weeks, get all my clothes washed. More such facilities should be arranged for the poor."
