There’s a need to seal borders and do preventive arrests: CM Kejriwal on Northeast Delhi violence

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in the national capital on February 25, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal spoke on incidents of violence in Northeast Delhi on February 24. He said, “MLAs of the affected areas informed me that there is a severe shortage of police force and police can't take action till they receive orders from the top. I have also asked District Magistrates to take out peace march with police in these areas.” “The hospital authorities have been asked to be prepared and provide quality medical aid to the injured coming there. Fire department has been asked to coordinate with Police and reach the affected areas on time,” CM Kejriwal added. “I will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah today at 12:00 pm. In the meeting, the MLAs of the border areas have said that people are coming from outside. There is a need to seal the borders and do preventive arrests,” Arvind Kejriwal further stated.
