Thermal checking, cleaning at Ajmer Sharif to prevent spread of COVID-19

Ajmer (Rajasthan), Mar 18 (ANI): The shrine of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz in Rajasthan's Ajmer is open despite the coronavirus scare that has gripped the world. The devotees are visiting the 'dargah' in large numbers. However, measures have been taken by authorities to bring awareness among people and prevent it. The Health Ministry has set up measures for thermal checking at each entrance. The officials from Health Ministry are distributing hand sanitizers to devotees. The 'dargah' itself is cleaned properly to be safe for devotees. The caretaker of shrine said, "The number of devotees has decreased due to the coronavirus. Still, the dargah is open for everyone. It's a rumour that the dargah has been closed." Rajasthan has reported 4 positive coronavirus cases so far, from which 3 patients are cured.
