Tripura: CM Manik Saha inaugurates blood donation camp at Agartala Press Club

Agartala (Tripura), Apr 8 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated Blood Donation Camp at the Agartala Press Club on April 8. The voluntary blood donation camp was organised by ‘Spandan’, an Agartala based social organisation. The consecutive blood donation Camps held across Tripura came following an appeal by Tripura’s CM. Shortage of Blood Units were noted in the 11 Government Blood Banks and 2 Private Banks. Hence, Dr. Saha appealed to the people, NGOs, other social working groups of Tripura for their contribution. The appeal resulted into overwhelming response at all grounds since then at all the Blood Banks.
