Jul 01, 2025

Churachandpur (Manipur), 01 July ANI: Two years after the ethnic violence broke out in Manipur on May 3, 2023, over 50,000 people remain displaced, living in cramped and often unhygienic relief camps. Among them is Thaljasei Baite, who now lives in a youth hostel-turned-camp in Churachandpur, along with over 500 other displaced Kuki people. Their daily struggle lack of clean water, proper shelter, and medical car remain largely invisible to the outside world. Children and families suffer silently, carrying the trauma of a conflict that tore their lives apart. Despite efforts by the government and NGOs, peace and normalcy remain distant dreams. This video brings you the untold human stories of those still waiting to return home with dignity, healing, and hope.
