“Unwarranted, one-sided…” Pakistan left rattled as India-US Joint Statement calls out ‘terror hub’

New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): PM Narendra Modi, who is on a historic State Visit to the US, held talks with US President Joe Biden at the White House on June 22. PM Modi and President Biden addressed a joint statement on June 23 where they condemned terrorism. In a major setback to Pakistan, the country’s terror factory was called out by US-India Joint Statement. On June 23, Pakistan Foreign Ministry sharply reacted to the US-India Joint Statement. Calling it "unwarranted, one-sided, and misleading", Pakistan Foreign Ministry claimed that the statement has “political overtone”. The ministry added that they were surprised by the joint statement and claimed that it had “close counterterrorism cooperation” with the US. Raking up Kashmir issue again, Pakistan accused India of using the allegations of extremism against Islamabad to deflect from the situation in Kashmir. Pak’s statement came a day after PM Modi and Prez Biden reiterated the call for action against all UN-listed terrorist groups including JeM and LeT . After the meeting at the Oval Office, Prime Minister also took a veiled dig at Pakistan over cross-border terrorism
