Urged protestors to come up with solutions to traffic situation, protecting their right to protest: Sanjay Hegde

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Senior advocates Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran, the interlocutors appointed by the Supreme Court to persuade Shaheen Bagh protestors to change their venue. Speaking to the mediapersons, Sanjay Hegde said that they urged protestors to come up with solutions to traffic situation, protecting their right to protest.“We urged protestors to come up with creative solutions to the traffic situation, while simultaneously protecting their right to protest. We are happy that Delhi Police has cooperated with our suggestions and the usage of some roads may soon be restored, especially for commuters going towards Faridabad. We will continue to meet the protestors, hopefully in a more organised manner,” said Sanjay Hegde.
