US ambassador-designate vows to help strengthen India

Washington DC (USA), Dec 15 (ANI): Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on December 14 was questioned by lawmakers weighing his nomination to become the ambassador to India. He said, “India is situated in a tough neighborhood. If confirmed, I intend to double-down on our efforts to strengthen India’s capacity to secure its borders and deter aggression through counterterrorism coordination.”
