New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): US Special Envoy Uzra Zeya met senior officials of GoI and discussed global and regional issues, informed the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi on May 19. Addressing a Press Conference, he said, “She met senior officials of GoI. Discussions focused on global and regional issues of mutual interest. Both sides also discussed follow-up to PM's participation in the summit for democracy in Dec 2021 that was hosted by US Prez Biden.” “We attach a lot of importance to the Quad. We have been keen to showcase what the Quad can do together and what it stands for. We will discuss contemporary issues and other issues of importance,” he added.
