Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj reports first Zika virus case

Kannauj (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 07 (ANI): The first case of Zika virus has been reported in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, informed Chief Medical Officer Dr Vinod Kumar on November 06. Zika virus has been confirmed in a 45-year-old male. “We had sent 32 samples for testing out of which one tested positive for Zika virus. 19 samples from his village sent for testing,” he added.
