Uttarakhand CM announces state-wide lockdown till March 31

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Mar 22 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat announced a state-wide lockdown after observing Janta Curfew’s affect. He said, “After the nationwide ‘Janta Curfew’ that was observed today against coronavirus, we have decided to continue the curfew in the entire state till 31st March. However, essential services, such as food and medicines, will be available for all.” He further added, “We've decided that inter-city and inter-state bus services will remain suspended till 31 March. People should travel minimum during the lockdown, they should not rush from the city or village they are living in at present to other places.”
