Villagers surrender their air guns for wildlife protection in Itanagar

Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), Nov 12 (ANI): In an endeavour to conserve the wildlife in the region, villagers of Sikiputu village in Kamle District surrendered around 90 personal air guns under a special initiative launched by Arunachal Pradesh Government. ‘Air Gun Surrender Abhiyan’ aims to promote licensing in the area. The event was launched in the presence of state Environment and Forest Minister- Mama Natung.
