Watch: 189-year-old British-era bridge demolished in Pune

Pune (Maharashtra), Apr 05 (ANI): A 189-year-old British 189-year-old British-era Amrutanjan Bridge, near Lonavala, at Pune-Mumbai Expressway was demolished on April 05. The bridge was knocked down through controlled explosion to make to make traffic movement between Mumbai and Pune smoother. Since the demolition is done amid the coronavirus lockdown, authorities didn’t find any difficulty in taking down the bridge as no traffic was observed near the area.
