Watch: Beating the Retreat ceremony enthralls audience at Attari-Wagah border on R-Day

Attari (Punjab), Jan 26 (ANI): Like every year, this year also the Beating the Retreat ceremony was performed at Attari-Wagah border on Republic Day. Several spectators from across India and world flocked to Attari border to experienced one of a kind event. Beating the Retreat was started in 1959 as a goodwill gesture at Attari-Wagah border, the road checkpost between India and Pakistan. The ceremony is not only a daily drill performed by the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers but it has also emerged as a major tourist attraction on both sides of the Radcliff Line.
