Wildlife dept traps leopard near Vaishno Devi shrine

Katra (J&K), Apr 18 (ANI): Wildlife department officials trapped a leopard in Jammu’s Katra on April 17. The officials trapped the leopard by putting a cage in the area. The administration launched operation to trap the leopard after receiving information about sighting of wild animals near Katra town and on the Vaishno Devi track. A search operation has also been launched to trace two other wild cats believed to be roaming around in the area. Wildlife department shifted the leopard to Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary.
