Will pay rent for poor: Kejriwal urges landlords to not pressurise tenants to vacate homes

New Delhi, Mar 29(ANI): Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal requested the landlords of Delhi to not charge rent from their tenants for three months, even as he said the Delhi government will bear the rents of the needy people. Kejriwal said that after 2-3 months, the state government will pay the rent for the poor people if they are unable to pay it by themselves. “Delhi Government will take strict actions against landlords who will pressurise their tenants for rent,” Kejriwal added.
