Yes bank crisis: Worried depositors queue up outside Ahmedabad branch

Ahmedabad (Gujarat)/ Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Mar 07 (ANI): Yes Bank depositors queued up outside troubled lender’s branch on Chimanlal Girdharlal Road in Ahmedabad, criticising the government for capping withdrawal limit at Rs 50,000. Worried depositors in Bhubaneshwar also queued up outside Bapuji Nagar branch of Yes Bank. The bank has been placed under moratorium by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) over deteriorating financial condition. The withdrawal limit has been capped at Rs 50,000. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that these steps are taken in the interest of depositors, the troubled bank and economy.
