Noting that India must become self-reliant in critical technologies and industries, Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Thursday said that the global economy is growing at less than 2.5 per cent while the country is sprinting ahead at nearly 8 per cent but the "geopolitical situation has created certain challenges for our future progress".
Negotiations are progressing well for the trade deal between India and United States and substantial discussions have taken place, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Thursday.
