“Yamuna will be cleaned by 2029”: Home Minister Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday expressed confidence that the goal of a clean Yamuna will be achieved by 2029, saying continuous efforts are underway under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He said the Kishau Multipurpose Project Agreement will make 25 per cent of the water available and benefit Delhi and the Yamuna, while also contributing to environmental conservation.
