In a joint operation carried out on Monday, Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch Police and Army's Romeo Force busted a suspected terror hideout in the Surankot village of Poonch, recovering 5 Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), multiple radio sets, wires and binoculars and blankets.
The firefighters rescued a total of 19 people who were stuck in the terrace building due to smoke. Additionally, 2 dogs and 1 cat were also rescued. No injuries were reported as the fire started when the showroom was closed.
