Uttarakhand: State government to strengthen monitoring; Early warning systems for sensitive glacier lakes

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed authorities to strengthen scientific monitoring and safety measures for sensitive glacier lakes across the state. Officials will conduct surveys, install advanced early warning systems and improve evacuation routes, communication networks and disaster response preparedness.
