Delhi HC issues notice in PIL for setting up of 42 commercial courts for speedy redressal of cases

New Delhi [India], April 4 : The Delhi High Court on Monday issued notice to the Government of NCT Delhi, Registrar General and others on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking directions for setting up 42 more Commercial Courts, as notified by the Delhi Government on April 13, 2021, to ensure speedy redressal of commercial cases instituted in Delhi in the larger public interest.
