Union Budget 2022: Price rise, inflation not addressed, says Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Feb 01 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on February 01 gave a mixed response to the Union Budget 2022 and said that the budget has not addressed price rise and inflation faced by the people. “Focus of Budget2022 on tech and infrastructure-led growth will have a positive impact. Production-linked initiative schemes in 14 sectors and extension of Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme would be helpful in mitigating supply-side constraints,” said CM Patnaik. “Sectoral allocation is slashed in critical sectors like agriculture and farmer’s welfare, higher education, rural development, and women and child development. This could hamper inclusive growth and needs to be reconsidered,” he added.
