Srinagar (J&K), Sep 06 (ANI): Travel Agents Federation of Kashmir (TAFOK), some volunteers of non government organizations (NGO) and students came together to preserve the water bodies of the Valley including the world famous Dal Lake. Unfortunately for last two years number of water bodies especially Dal Lake got polluted badly due to plastic waste. Dal Lake being the central spot for tourists, J&K Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) is also doing well to clean the water bodies and lakes. During this drive, participants used local boats and nets to collect the waste including plastic bottles, polythene, disposable items and other wastes thrown by locals and tourists.
