New Delhi, June 22 (ANI): Fine-grained evidence gathered from the crime scene can be linked to criminals and brought them to his end and Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi (FSL) is playing a vital role in it solving crucial cases and nabbing criminals.The laboratory prepares forensic reports for valuable evidence that contribute to the successful prosecution and conviction of criminals. All types of cases related to biology, chemistry, documents, physics, DNA, photos, lie-detection and ballistics are investigated in FSL, Delhi. The Forensic Science Laboratory comes under the Home Department of Delhi Government. Cases received from Delhi Police, courts and other government institutions are examined in this laboratory.As the use of the internet has increased, cyber crime has also increased at the same rate. FSL also plays an important role in solving cases related to cyber or digital fraud.
