New Delhi, May 12 (ANI): Delhi Police arrested two paramedics, who were involved in black marketing of oxygen cylinders with CATS Ambulance service. Police received a PCR call wherein the caller stated that the oxygen cylinders were being sold at exorbitant prices. Keeping the sensitivity of the case, a team was formed to develop information and to identify the culprits so that the truth can be unearthed. Sincere efforts were made through technical investigation one accused namely Pawan was apprehended and mobile was recovered from his possession. During the course of investigation, he revealed that he is a trained paramedic and works with CATS Ambulance. The oxygen cylinders were being issued to ambulances for transporting critically ill-patients. The accused managed to get his mobile number publicised on social media for supply of oxygen cylinder and soon he started receiving demand for oxygen cylinders, and he started misappropriating oxygen cylinders that were being issued for ambulances. He used to receive the amount on his Paytm account which was further transferred to his two savings accounts in the bank and later the amount was withdrawn.
