Agartala, (Tripura), Jan 9 (ANI) To overcome the shortage of blood in hospitals and blood banks across Tripura, 40 youth aged between 20-45 years donated blood at a voluntary blood donation camp. The camp was organized by an NGO ASHA Holy Cross in association with Tripura Medical College (TMC) and a local gym at Lembucherra in West Tripura district. Tripura ranks among the top states in voluntary blood donation. However, during the lockdown out of fear of getting infected, blood donation had drastically gone down in the state.
