Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), June 02 (ANI): The International Pencak Silat Federation organised a national referee and jury course for coaches and referees in Srinagar on June 01. The course aimed to further develop the skills and knowledge of individuals involved in the sport of Pencak Silat, a traditional martial art originating from Indonesia. The course also focused on instilling a sense of fairness and integrity among the referees and coaches, emphasising the importance of upholding the values of sportsmanship and respect. Attendees were able to learn from experienced instructors and practitioners in the field, gaining valuable insights and techniques that will help them excel in their roles within the Pencak Silat community. By providing this specialised training, the International Pencak Silat Federation is committed to promoting the growth and development of the sport, ensuring that it continues to thrive on both national and international levels.
