Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 20 (ANI): Land of India is interspersed with numerous sites which are serving as testimonies to the long cherished brotherhood among myriad faiths prospering in the nation. The dargah of Hazrat Niyaz Ahmad Sahib in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh is one such epicenter of religious harmony. Popular as Khanqah- e- Niazia , the Dargah is visited by Hindus, Muslims and devotees from other religions alike.As in most of the temples or other religious sites, the lighting of lamps and burning incense sticks is a common tradition among the devotees who come to pray and offer their obeisance at this Dargah. Every year Jashn-e- Chiraghan festival is organized here and thousands of devotees and visitors come to offer prayers. People of all faiths unite on that occasion and celebrate the festival in the way they celebrate Diwali. This dargah sends out a message of love and peace for all, regardless of their religion. The Sufi Saints and Pundits who have laid this foundation of communal harmony in the country has only emboldened with time.
