New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament from Delhi Parvesh Verma, wrote to Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal against ‘mushrooming of mosques’ on government-owned properties in the national capital. He said, “Who gives permission for mosques and cemeteries to be built on government land? And who is giving them protection?” He further added, “I have told the LG to form a committee, this should be investigated and people should get to know the truth that more than 90% of the mosques are built on government land and 100% temples and Gurudwaras are built on DDA allotted land. Why this kind of discrimination?”
