World Heart Day celebrated in Srinagar to raise awareness about heart health

Srinagar, Oct 01 (ANI): World Heart Day is celebrated annually on September 29th to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases and promote heart-healthy habits. In Srinagar, the event is commemorated by various groups including hospital staff, NGOs, students, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Hospital staff, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, play a crucial role in organizing and participating in events on World Heart Day. NGOs working in the healthcare sector also actively participate in the celebrations. They organize awareness campaigns, health camps, and workshops to educate the public about maintaining a healthy heart. These organizations work towards reaching out to communities, especially the underprivileged, to raise awareness about the importance of heart health. Students, including both school and college students, active bely participate in World Heart Day activities. They organize rallies, walks, and other awareness programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Students also engage in creating posters, brochures, and social media campaigns to spread the message about heart health.
