Srinagar (J&K), June 27 (ANI): Akashvani Srinagar organised music and dialogue sessions to celebrate India’s presidency of G20. This was the first episode of a three-months series as well as campaign started by Akashvani Srinagar aimed to celebrate the India’s presidency and its post impacts in Kashmir. The G20 summit that was hosted by Jammu and Kashmir in May was full of enthusiasm and left the people with positive expectations of happening of such events in future. People in Srinagar hope for developments to be visible down the line. This program was also one of the important parts of “Azadi ka Mahotsav” celebration of 75 years on independence and coincidentally on July 1, Akashvani Srinagar is also celebrating 75th year as platinum jubilee. During the three-month campaign, Akashvani will be organizing more programs in the shape of theater, debates and more in all districts of the valley aiming to interact with people and make them aware about different things especially the impact of G 20 presidency. After G20, this is first episode of this special series organized in auditorium of all India radio Srinagar where people from different walks including writers, educationists, senior citizens and officials of Prasar Bharti participated. Learned people about the importance of G20 presidency along with some experts gave their presentations through their paper readings. On this occasion, experts highlighted and discussed important topics including culture, education, Sufi poetry, tourism.
