Jaipur, 04 January (ANI): Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot welcomed President Draupadi Murmu on her two-day visit in Rajasthan at the state hanger in Jaipur. The President was also given a guard of honour in the presence of senior officers. During her visit, President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the Samvidhan Udyan at Raj Bhavan in Jaipur. On this occasion, the President along with the Governor and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot visited the Samvidhan Udyan and observed the historical journey of the making of the Indian Constitution preserved in various statues, photographs and models. At the same time, the President appreciated the construction of the Samvidhan Udyan and said that this will increase awareness about the Constitution. On this occasion, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that with the making of the Constitution, equal rights have been given to all citizens including women in the country. He said that every citizen should know the basic spirit of the Constitution. Along with this, he expressed confidence that the newly created Samvidhan Udyan at Raj Bhavan will further spread the constitutional ideals, values and its core spirit.
