Rajasthan: Children of Mahatma Gandhi school speaking fluent Englis

Jaipur, 06 February (ANI): Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School run by the Government of Rajasthan in the state is becoming a model in the country. Due to the heavy fee burden in private schools, the poor man could not afford to send his children to an English medium school. But Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has made the dream of economically weaker section children a reality by opening Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School to teach them in English medium. In these schools, not only the children are being taught in English but their all-round development is being done. Sports and all modern facilities are being made available in these schools. This is the reason that more than 10 thousand applications are coming for about 100 seats for admission. Children are speaking fluent English after studying in English medium schools without fees. This scheme was started under the pilot project by opening 33 schools in Rajasthan. The success of this scheme is that now the number of these schools has reached 1,700.
