Hyderabad, Oct 29 (ANI): Post-Matric Scholarship programme was established by the Telangana government for the benefit of applicants from underprivileged social and economic groups. The scholarship aids the students in continuing their study, and they are grateful of it. Every year, this programme helps close to 14 lakh students. Abdul Sabul, a Tolichowki native and second-year student pursuing a degree, claims, “I consider it an honour to have received a post-matric scholarship. Every year, I get 6,000 rupees. I am grateful to the Telangana government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for this scholarship. This encourages students to study and complete their education. I request the government to introduce more such schemes to help the students to have a bright career.” Another beneficiary Aseela Tabasum, said, “I thank the Telangana State Government and CM KCR for supporting middle class and underprivileged kids to pursue their higher education. It greatly benefits us. The introduction of more such programmes would be beneficial.
