Pahalgam (J&K), Sept 18 (ANI): A fishing competition was organised by Kashmir Angler’s federation on September 18 in Pahalgam, J&K. The competition was organised in collaboration with the Department of tourism and fisheries. It aimed to promote adventure sports as well as adventure tourism. In an International level, especially in European countries, people have a huge passion for angling. For the last few years, the department of fisheries is also making some efforts to boost the trout fish culture. Kashmir valley has huge potential for angling and hundreds of anglers have visited the valley for angling. Dozens of streams are very famous for angling including Lidder Valley, Arin Bandipora and Harwan Dachigam.
