Ajmer (Rajasthan), July 06 (ANI): Ajmer Dargah cleric Salman Chishti was arrested on July 05 for allegedly making provocative statements against Nupur Sharma. Ajmer Additional Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan said, “We had received information that a deceptive and objectionable video has been put by the Khadim of the Dargah, Salman Chishti, after which an FIR has been registered in the matter and Salman Chishti has been arrested from his house. His interrogation is on. He had made some objectionable remarks on Nupur Sharma's relation.” “He has also been a history-sheeter and has 13 cases registered against him,” he added.
