Amritsar (Punjab), June 03 (ANI): On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on June 03 put the bullet-hit bir of Guru Granth Sahib on display at the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar. Holy bir is the scripture of Guru Granth Sahib which was hit by bullets during the operation. Indian Army carried out Operation Blue Star in 1984 between June 01 to 08. Devotees thronged the Golden Temple complex to witness the cruelty carried out on the Sikh community. Operation Blue Star was conducted from June 01 to June 08 in 1984.
