Nepal and India discuss movement of third-country nationals at annual border security coordination meeting

The eighth annual border security coordination meeting between Nepal's Armed Police Force (APF) and India's Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) kicked off in Kathmandu, focusing on the movement of third-country nationals across the porous Nepal-India border. The meeting addressed concerns over the movement of Chinese, Pakistani, Rohingya, and Bangladeshi nationals. The two sides also discussed strategies for curbing cross-border criminal activities, smuggling, and improving coordination to combat challenges like drug trafficking.
