At UN, China puts hold on bid by India, US to sanction Pakistan terrorist who plotted Kandahar plane hijacking

Washington [US], August 11 : While all other 14 members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Wednesday agreed to impose sanctions on Abdul Rauf Azhar, a top commander of Pakistan-based proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), only one country stood out by coming to the defence of a terrorist and placing a hold on the proposal.
