From precarious cable to span: Suspension bridge restores life flow in flood-hit Nepal’s Nuwakot

A 268-metre suspension bridge has reopened across the Trishuli River in Nepal's Nuwakot district, restoring connectivity for flood-affected communities. Previously, residents relied on a dangerous zip-line or travelled 40 kilometres to reach the main highway. The bridge was opened on October 16, with some work remaining.
