India-Japan inaugurate dialogue on Economic Security with focus on bolstering industrial and technological resilience

India and Japan held the inaugural round of their Dialogue on Economic Security, including Strategic Trade and Technology, in Tokyo on November 27, 2024. Co-chaired by India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and Japan's Vice Minister Masataka Okano, the dialogue focused on enhancing collaboration in economic policies, strengthening supply chains, and fostering research in key technologies. Both sides reiterated their commitment to advancing their Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
