The FIA's Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi has arrested Shakeel Rafiq, who attempted to travel to the US using counterfeit documents under the guise of joining a cricket club. The arrest occurred outside the US Consulate after suspicions were raised due to Rafiq's lack of cricket knowledge. An investigation is ongoing, and raids are being conducted to apprehend the agent involved.
Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) urged China to recognise Taiwan's existence and refrain from military provocations that threaten regional stability. MOFA expressed gratitude to international allies for their support amid rising tensions and emphasised the importance of dialogue for maintaining peace in the Taiwan Strait.
