Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council and a crew member, shared his 18-day experience aboard INSV Kaundinya during its maiden international voyage from Porbandar to Muscat. The vessel received a water salute on arrival. Minister Sarbananda Sonowal hailed it as a symbol of India's revived maritime heritage.
Separately, the Indian Embassy in Tehran has also advised Indian nationals currently in Iran to leave the country at the earliest.
